Should I request a digital proof?

The first digital proof is free, and additional digital proofs are $3.95 each.

If you would like a digital proof, please let us know in the “Messages / Deadlines” area available on each product page.

If you ask for a digital proof, before printing, we will email you a PDF file reflecting bleed and trim areas normally within 4 to 6 business hours. Turnaround starts at the time of approval. Therefore, in most cases, one day is added to the turnaround.

A digital proof may help you visualize bleed and trim areas. It is also useful in discovering errors such as missing text and images.

A digital proof is a “soft proof” and is intended to demonstrate the size, text, and placement of your file. Because of the variances of monitor settings and differences in equipment, it is not an exact representation of color. Please make sure to download your proof rather than viewing it through the email.

If your job is color critical, we suggest you request a physical Standard or Next Day Mail Proof option available from our services section so you can truly see the final product. We also recommend creating your art file using CMYK color mode.
